Her canonization took place in 1461, solidifying her legacy as a saint. Her feast day is celebrated on April 29. Catherine was also instrumental in bringing the papacy back to Rome from Avignon, showcasing her influence and determination. She emphasized the importance of love and humility in her writings, often saying, ‘All the way to Heaven is Heaven.’
