About Saint Bonaventure
Saint Bonaventure, born Giovanni di Fidanza in 1221, dedicated his life to the service of God and the Church. As an Italian Catholic Franciscan bishop and cardinal, he became the seventh Minister General of the Order of Friars Minor. His leadership and theological insights greatly influenced the Franciscan community and the broader Church. He was also appointed as Bishop of Albano, where he continued to spread the teachings of Christ and embody the Franciscan values of humility and charity.
